Domestic Violence should never become an accepted lifestyle

1 out of 10 women have been abused whether it was physical or verbal. 1 out of 10 women goes back to their abuser one because they think things have changed and most feel comfortable with what they are familiar with. Ladies please pay attention if you are in a domestic relationship now, if your abuser can not admit he has a problem and seek the help he needs the abuse will continue. Women who have been abused have been conditioned to think it's their fault and they feel if they don't do certain things the abuse would have never happened. Some women stay for the sake of their children but as you are staying for the sake of your children you are allowing them to experience the abuse you are going through emotionally which will scar them for life. Some women stay for financial reasons and feel you can't make it without  your abuser financial support. There are Women Shelters in place to help you, if you can not stay with someone until you are able to support yourself and your children.  Just know the abuse is not your fault and God never created us to be abused but loved and respected. Don't allow domestic violence to become your accepted lifestyle. If you are being abused or know someone who is I encourage you to call the National Domestic Violence Hotline and get the help you need and please share the number it can save a life.
