Substitutions

Don’t Judge Me You Don’t My Story I was raped & molested too
Sis, I use to be just like you I substituted my pain with a whole lot of Ciroc & Hennessy. I felt I could heal myself & the alcohol I was drinking seemed to numb the pain. Many of us have used many substitutions & only to find out what we tried to use to induce the pain only made matters worse. My pain didn’t end until I stop drinking excessively & allowed God in my life.

Me laying up with another woman will not help erase the pain of me being raped or molested. My cousin & stepfather violated me, my mother rejected the truth I told her about her husband & I still say another woman who can show me attention or love sexually can not erase the pain.

Don’t Judge Me You Don’t Know My Story I was raped and molested too

Being raped or molested forces you to grow up fast. Some turn gay, some become promiscuous while others withdraw from having sex. Some are hard to love while others live in fear, some carry the weight of the world on their shoulders because they can't let go of what happened to them. I was raped at the age of 4 & later molested by the time I became a teen. The memory of being raped was supressed while the scars of being molested scarred me emotionally majority of my life. I became promiscuous & got involved with dope boys because of the environment I was raised in. By the age of 14 I was introduced to slanging dope. My promiscuous lifestyle didn't stop once I became married.  I endulged in heavy drinking & smoking 3 packs of cigarettes a day to fill a void only God could fill. My story may not be your story but if you have been molested or raped I encourage you to forgive yourself it wasn't your fault. Allow God to heal you from the inside out.

Rose from Reflection Teen Edition

Rose from Reflection Teen Edition is my second book to date which reflects on the choices our youth make and how it can come with rewards or consequences. In the beginning of the book I reflected on some of the choices I made coming up and the turning point in my life that drew me to Christ as I got older. Each Chapter was designed to encourage our youth they are created for purpose and the necessity of having a personal relationship with Jesus. Some chapters target on choosing friends wisely as well as the importance of saving sex for marriage. At the end of Rose from Reflection Teen Edition there is Raising Awareness against bullying and stopping the violence. Rose from Reflection Teen Edition is dedicated to the teens who have lost their life to gun violence. My prayers and thoughts are with the families who have experience such a loss. Rose from Reflection Teen Edition is available now on Amazon the Kindle edition the hard copy will be available soon. XulonPress has the hard copy available now. May God bless you.

Don't allow the spirit of deception determine your final destination

Choose this day whom you will serve

We are living in a day & time where many don't believe in God or they feel the bible is a myth. Or they believe in God but not in his Word. How can one believe in God but not his word when God himself is the Word. How can one believe in some of the Word but not all of the Word. Do one take the scriptures that relates to them and make them feel good about themselves and the scriptures that convicts them they reject. At the end of this life we will all have to give an account whether you believe in God or not whether you believe in the Holy Bible or not every knee will bow and every tongue will confess to God

Domestic Violence should never become an accepted lifestyle

1 out of 10 women have been abused whether it was physical or verbal. 1 out of 10 women goes back to their abuser one because they think things have changed and most feel comfortable with what they are familiar with. Ladies please pay attention if you are in a domestic relationship now, if your abuser can not admit he has a problem and seek the help he needs the abuse will continue. Women who have been abused have been conditioned to think it's their fault and they feel if they don't do certain things the abuse would have never happened. Some women stay for the sake of their children but as you are staying for the sake of your children you are allowing them to experience the abuse you are going through emotionally which will scar them for life. Some women stay for financial reasons and feel you can't make it without  your abuser financial support. There are Women Shelters in place to help you, if you can not stay with someone until you are able to support yourself and your children.  Just know the abuse is not your fault and God never created us to be abused but loved and respected. Don't allow domestic violence to become your accepted lifestyle. If you are being abused or know someone who is I encourage you to call the National Domestic Violence Hotline and get the help you need and please share the number it can save a life.
